I mean, we all forget things at times. We all get up a little late for an appointment. And we all overload our hummingbird brains with our alligator mouths. But do put something like this on the internet, admit to it and brag about it is juuuust a little too brazen!

A photographer posted this! If you’re a model, you may want to rethink sticking around for a shoot in this situation.

So last night I was partying with a group of buddies and somehow made it home for 1 am… passed out and had a shoot planned for 6 am today.
So I get up at 5 and drag my behind to the shoot only to realize that I have no idea where my camera is. So I reach for the best thing at hand, my phone which is a Samsung Galaxy.
The model was shocked but I told her we are creating images that are supposed to look amateur artistic and target a segment that is undeserved. Lol. we had a great shoot.
With the pictures I tried to depict picture of two lovers the morning after a night of passion. I tried to incorporate myself into the pictures to add to the story line.
Of course I will be able to judge the pictures better tomorrow.

If you know me, you know it’s hard for me to not respond to something like this. But it happened!

On a web site, we see instances where an arrogant photographer flies off the handle and says things you wouldn’t ever expect. The story says that an unsigned model was approached by this “photographer” and wanted to set up a shoot. She gave him her rates. Whether it was too high is completely subjective. You’re entitled to charge whatever you want. So when he received her asking price, he went ballistic. I hate that people have to be this way or act this way. One day it’ll come back to him. Karma has no expiration date.

Here’s a link to his page on Model Mayhem: http://www.modelmayhem.com/616365

Here’s the entire post from the forums. His reply is bold.

Dear Model/Photographer,

Recently, a female model from Minnesota, whose name I will not disclose, was negotiating a deal with photographer Scott from CC Images. http://www.modelmayhem.com/616365 He was interested to book a shoot with her, which requires a lot of physicality. It required the model to be body painted, and perform difficult poses. With the demanding nature of this shoot, the model named a price of 300+. This is a reasonable price, since she has worked with other photographers who paid her this amount of money for SIMPLE nudes. As a response, Scott attacked this model through this email:

Was that a mistype? LOL
I suppose If I had a dildo shoved up your ass while I was fucking you and taking pictures I could see maybe $300 and you pay for the $50 worth of body paint.
Give me even just ONE reference that you have made 1/3 of that. Your unpublished and you still have your high school grad photo’s in your port. AND that will never change. The going rate in the twin cities for adult nude with toys(ya that a dildo) is $125/hr CAMERA TIME.
I am interested in creating art. I have presented my work at 7 gallery shows just this year and I can promise you this… The only thing worth $350 for an hours work is an escort that does anal on tape and loves it.
Please Please go back to your little miss contest that you didn’t win. I’ll pay the $350 to a gorgeous escort and fuck her in the ass and then she will happily swallow.

The model was eventually blocked from CC Images’ profile, that’s why I am helping her to relay his message to you.

Even if the photographer disagrees with a model during negotiating, it is HIGHLY unprofessional to say something like this in response. Not only did he not try to work it out with the model, or kindly reject the request, he basically abused this model sexually through text.

If you’ve previously worked with Scott, and he was professional and produced good images, good for you. But you should know about this incident. I believe this behavior of his should be known among his friends on ModelMayhem. Please spread this message to other models in order to prevent this type of abuse from Scott again. For the future, I advise that you don’t work with this sick, offensive, and degrading photographer.
