Earlier this year, Greg Cobb Photography signed up for Shutterfest in St Louis. There were answers I needed and guidance I needed that isn’t available in this area, or not easily anyway. I attended in April with an open mind, taking in everything I could. I saw how others do the same technique I do. I wasn’t there to agree or disagree, nor to judge. I was there to collect unbiased information.
Skip Cohen Skip Cohen University instructed a class of us for 3 hours. In this class I gained knowledge of probably 80% of what I wanted to learn by attending the conference. From that one class I felt the need to not only rebrand my photography business but to step my game back up to where I was a few years ago. My immediate changes include but are not limited to:
Incorporating Wedding Packages into my pricing along with miscellaneous items
Creating PDF files for download
Slide Shows for public viewing
Making albums much smaller
Those things alone will being things around for me. I will still do the same shoots I’ve always done but will focus on other styles. I hope to have all this in place in another month, then market myself like I already know how to do.
I appreciate my prior clients’ support and business. I also look forward to meeting new clients in the near future.
